/ about the client

Jewish Heritage Programs (JHP) is a Philadelphia-area nonprofit umbrella organization supporting Jewish heritage and cultural initiatives across the Greater Philadelphia region.

/ overview

The 30th anniversary added a layer — this wasn't just the annual gala, it was a milestone. That shaped the logo work: three marks for different contexts. The emblem (circular seal) for official use, the badge for celebratory treatments, the masthead lockup — TASTE OF NEW YORK in red with the emblem nested in the title — for covers and signage. The save-the-date used a vintage NYC street binocular viewer as the anchor image, which set the event's visual tone early. The trifold invite and program each had to hold a lot: honoree headshots and bios, a JHP history section, full event committee list. The RSVP doubled as a sponsorship form with tiered giving levels. The sponsor poster listed every donor by tier from Founders down to Friends — designed to print large and hang in the venue, which it did at Prince George Ballroom. The Squarespace site handled ticketing in the lead-up, then flipped to a post-event recap with photos and remarks.

/ logo system

Logo System

Three marks built for different contexts. The emblem is the official seal — circular, full name, founding year, thirtieth anniversary. The badge leads with the milestone: "30th JHP Anniversary" in a bold hexagonal lockup. The masthead is the event name treatment — TASTE OF NEW YORK in red with the emblem nested inside the title — used on covers, signage, and anywhere the event name needed to carry the room.

/ save the date

Save the Date

A vintage NYC coin-op binocular viewer as the anchor — something you'd find in Central Park or on a rooftop, immediately placing the event in New York. Bold masthead over the photo, event details and honorees below. Simple format, strong image.

/ invitation suite

Invitation Suite

Four pieces in the suite: envelope, trifold invite, RSVP card, and event program. The invite and program share a format — same trifold structure, same visual language — but carry different content. The invite leads with honorees and event logistics; the program adds a JHP history spread and the full event committee list. The RSVP doubles as a sponsorship form, tiered from Young Friends to Founder level.

/ sponsor poster

Sponsor Poster

One large-format piece listing all donors by tier — Founders, Benefactors, Champions, Supporters, Sustainers, Friends, Young Friends. Built to print at poster size and hang in the ballroom. Went up at Prince George the night of the event.
